Harlem has an active fleet of J/24s. Fleet 61 activities include Wednesday night racing (May-September, usually 2 races/evening), Monday night racing (informal - great for crew training) and 3 Sunday afternoons of racing in the fall. Harlem also sponsors the Hoxsie Regatta, originally sailed in Star boats and resurrected in 1994 for Fleet 61.

We are fortunate to have many new members who have joined the Harlem Yacht Club over the past several years. Some of you have been with us on our various rendezvous or our summer cruises. For whatever reason, or combinations of reasons, many have not yet had the opportunity to participate with the rest of us in these popular boating activities.

While not yet ready to share with you actually “where” the club will be going this year, we do have a good idea of the “when” and the “what”.

Let’s start with the “what”.

The Vice Commodore's Regatta is one of Harlem's newer events. Designed to encourage mixing of the species, the rules for this race require that each boat be crewed by a mix of sailboat owners and powerboat owners.
